Clarke University sophomore
Nico Piscopo, of Elk Grove, Ill., has been named to the 2012 Midwest Collegiate Conference honorable mention all-conference team. The all-conference squads were selected by a vote of league coaches.
Piscopo hit .311 this past season and led the Crusaders in doubles (9), RBIs (24) and total bases (53). He ranked second on the squad in hits with 38.
Piscopo is a repeat selection on the all-conference unit. He was a first-team selection as a freshman.
