Anna Hahn, of New Berlin, Wis., and
Tyler Wills, of Galena, Ill., have been named the 2012 recipients of the university's Newcomer of the Year Award, which is presented annually to a male and female student-athlete.

Don Adams' basketball team, earned Midwest Collegiate Conference honorable mention all-conference honors this past winter. She led the Crusaders in scoring (11.7 ppg), rebounding (5.4 rpg), field goal percentage (54.1), free throw perecentage (87.5), blocked shots (9) and minutes played (903). Hahn set a new single-season free throw accuracy, hitting 112 of 128 attempts from the charity stripe.
Wills, a 6-6 setter/outside hitter on
Kris Dorn's volleyball squad, was one of ten athletes named a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Men's Volleyball All-American this season. He led the 2012 Crusaders in kills (266), kills per set (2.66), digs (204) and service aces (30). Wills finished second in assists (182) and digs per set (2.04) and ranked fourth in total blocks (53).
Wills was named the co-recipient of the Mid-America Men's Intercollegiate Volleyball Conferece East Division Freshman/Newcomer of the Year Award.
