Five members of Coach Adam Hinders' Clarke University track and field program have been named 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
 
Named to the honor list from Clarke were seniors Morgan Bradford, of Anderson, S.C., Hannah Day, of Rockford, Ill., Katrina Moyna, of Elkader, Iowa, and juniors Julie Keith, of Rockford, Ill., and Jon Schoening, of Glenwood, Illinois.
 
In order to be nominated by an institutoion's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
 
A total of 362 women's track and field student-athletes were named to the scholar list, while 243 men's track and field athletes garnered honors.
