Clarke College sophomore forward Abdulwali Aman, of Bellingham, Wash., has been named the Midwest Collegiate Conference (MCC) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending September 7.

Aman tallied three goals in two games at the Carthage College Battle of the Border Tournament this past weekend in Kenosha, Wis., leading Coach Sean Esterhuizen's Crusaders to a second-place finish.

Aman scored one goal in Clarke's 4-2 tournament win over Buena Vista last Friday, then added a pair of first-half goals in the Crusaders 3-1 win over St. Norbert College this past Sunday.

Clarke has posted three straight wins and is now 3-1 overall. The Crusaders will return to action on Thursday, Sept. 11, with a 7 p.m. non-conference match at UW-Platteville.
