Abdulwali Aman scored a pair of first-half goals and Clarke goalkeeper Phillip Flores recorded 10 saves Sunday to help lead Coach Sean Esterhuizen's Crusaders to a 3-1 win over St. Norbert College and a second-place finish at the Battle of the Border Tournament in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Both of Aman's goals came on assists from Dustin Whelan.
Dino Ramic scored Clarke's final goal in the second half on an assist from Kraig Moore.
Whelan, Aman, Tankiso Sekese and Ramic each goaled in Clarke's 4-2 tournament win over Buena Vista on Friday.
Clarke has won three straight since a season-opening loss to crosstown rival Loras. The Crusaders will return to action on Thursday, Sept. 11, with a 7 p.m. non-conference match at UW-Platteville.
