Clarke freshman Dino Ramic, of Pasco, Wash., scored two goals and added an assist on a third goal Saturday night to lead the visiting Crusaders to a 4-2 victory over the University of Dubuque.
Ramic was also in on the games only goal of the first half, which was ruled an own goal.
Sophomore Abdulwali Aman, of Bellingham, Wash., scored a goal and had an assist.
Clarke, 1-1, will return to action next weekend at the Carthage College Tournament. The Crusaders will face Buena Vista University on Friday and St. Norbert College on Sunday.
In the women's contest, Clarke evened its season record at 1-1 with a 3-2 overtime win over the University of Dubuque.
Clarke's Stefani Hines scored the game-winner at . Kelsey Gleich and Lindy Stauffer were credited with assists.
Clarke went up 1-0 on an goal by Paige Kack, the only goal of the first half. The Crusaders went up 2-1 on a Melissa Guthrie second-half goal, but UD knotted the score at 2-all with a goal at the 89:44 mark.
Clarke will meet Buena Vista University at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, at the Carthage College Tournament. The Crusaders will face crosstown rival Loras College in the tournament's 4 p.m. game on Sunday, Sept. 7.
