The Clarke University women's soccer team concluded its season on Saturday with a 3-0 loss at St. Ambrose University in the MCC Tournament semifinals.  The Crusaders, who finished at 9-10 on the year, outscored their opponents this season 47-22 and averaged nearly 2.5 goals per game.

"Huge improvement on last year," said head coach Tyler Watkins after completing his second season as head coach.  "Most wins since 2010.  Most goals in a season ever."

Watkins stressed that the team's foundation is set for the future.

"We had a good year to build on for next year," continued Watkins.  "This senior class had a great year and will be greatly missed."

The Fighting Bees were ranked 23rd nationally.
