
Three Clarke College student-athletes have earned Midwest Collegiate Conference Volleyball Player of the Week honors for their perfomances for the period ending Oct. 26.
Clarke sophomore Keri West, a sophomore outside hitter from Burlington, Iowa, hit .315 and averaged 3.87kills perset.West tallied 58 kills during the week.
Junior Erin Scheiber, of Sioux Falls, S.D., was named the MCC Setter of the Week. Scheiber averaged 11.2 assists and 2.4 digs per set. This marks the third time this fall that Sheiber has been tabbed for the weekly honor.
Sophomore libero Heather Jansen, of Hazel Green, Wis., was named the MCC Liiber of the Week. Jansen had 57 digs and a .951 reception percentage.
Clarke went 5-0 during the week and won the Clarke Volleyball Tournament this past weekend. The Crusaders have won eight straight and 12 of their last 13 matches.
