Dino Ramic - MCC Newcomer of the Year

Clarke College freshman forward Dino Ramic, of Pasco, Wash., has been named the 2008 Midwest Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Newcomer of the Year. Ramic, who ranked among the league leaders in several offensive categories, was one of 14 players selected first-team All-Conference by a vote of MCC coaches.
A product of Hanford High School and a native of Mostar, Bosnia, Ramic ranked third in goals per game (1.0) and game-winning goals (3), fourth in goals (7) and shots per game (2.86), fifth in points (14) and points per game (2.0), and sixth in shots (27) and shots per game (2.86).
Ramic received MCC Offensive Player of the Week honors in September.
Greg Lehman, of St. Ambrose University, was named the MCC Player of the Year, while Blair Reed of Grand View University was cited as the MCC Coach of the Year.
