UW-Platteville benefited from a pair of scoring spurts Wednesday en route to an 89-65 win over Clarke College in the consolation game of the Clarke Tournament at the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center. The Pioneers (4-8) used a 15-3 spurt to build a 24-9 lead midway through the opening half.
Clarke (1-12) closed the gap to 40-33 at halftime, but the Pioneers blew the game open with a 10-0 run in the second half.
Lisa Grantman led UW-Platteville with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Charity Strotmeister and Melanie Walker added 12 and 11 points, repectively.
Rolle and Ahlf each had 10 rebounds for the Crusaders.
Mount Mercy defeated Illinois Institute of Technology 86-59 in Wednesday's tournament championship game.
