Chris Miron has announced his program's award winners for the 2009 season. Clarke junior
Casey Sawyer, of Hemet, Calif., was named the recipient of the team's Most Consistent Offense, Never Give Up and Most Valuable Teammate awards.
Sawyer led Clarke's squad in kills(419), kills per set (3.84) and reception percentage (.974), and ranked second in both digs (222) and digs per set (2.04).
Freshman
Dan Tringale, of St. Louis, Mo., was named the recipient of the squad's Most Consistent Defense Award.
Bobby Springer, a freshman from Chicago, Ill., received the teams's Most Improved Award.
The squad's Hardest Worker Award went to sophomore
Alex Wilharm, of Decorah, Iowa.
Alex Kelsheimer, a sophomore from St. Louis, Mo., was the recipient of the team's Best Positive Attitude Award.
Clarke finished the 2009 season with an 18-13 overall record.
