Morgan Bradford, of Anderson, S.C., and Crusader senior
Emily Brown, of Delano, Calif., each won events Saturday at the University of Dubuque Spartan Open. Bradford took the pole vault competition with a clearance of 3.18 meters, while Brown, a three-time NAIA All-American, took the hammer throw event with a throw of 49.04 meters.
Clarke's
Kari Klein (So., Epworth, Iowa) finished second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 69.15, while
Katie Hemesath (Fr., Dubuque) took a third-place finish in the 1500 meter run with a school-record time of 5:14.27.
In the men's competition,
Eric Boldger (So., Walworth, Wis.) took second in the triple jump with a distance of 12.39 meters, and
Isaac Mase (Fr., Kapsabet, Kenya) finished third in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a school-record time of 10:25.42.
