Clarke College will host a series of basketball camps for boys and girls this
summer at the college's Robert and Ruth Kehl Center.
An All-Around Fundamental Camp is scheduled for June 9-12.
A session for students in grades 1-4 will meet from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. This
session will include lecture, ball handling, skill development, shooting
instruction and competition. The cost of the camp is $80.
A session for students in grades five through eight will run from 12:30 to
3:30 p.m. This session will include lecture, shooting drills, ball handling and
post and perimeter improvement. The cost of the camp is $80.
A Big Man Camp for students in grades seven through 12 will be held on June
16-18. The camp will run from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and
will focus on all skills related to post development such as position, moves,
rebounding, defense and competition. The cost of the camp is $100.
A Shooting Camp will be held on June 19-22 for students in grades seven
through 12. The camp for grades seven and eight will run from 1 to 3 p.m.,
grades nine and 10 from 3 to 5 p.m., and grades 11 and 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. The
cost is $80.
A one-day High School Team Camp will be held on Friday, July 25. Teams will
be play three games. The cost of the camp is $75.
