Clarke College seniors Emily Brown, of Delano, Calif., and Devin Patterson, of Elizabeth, Ill., have been named the recipient's of the Ed Colbert Career Achievement Award. Established in 1993 in honor of Coach Colbert's contributions to the Clarke athletic program, the award is presented annually to to a senior male and senior female student-athlete in recognition of their outstanding career achivements in Clarke athletics.

Brown was a four-time NAIA Track and Field All-American during her two-year career at Clarke. She was a four-time Midwest Collegiate Conference Track and Field "Field" Athlete of the Year.

Patterson was a four-year varsity letterwinner in the Crusaders' men's basketball program.
