Coach Sean Esterhuizen's Clarke College men's and women's soccer teams will open their 2009 season at home on Saturday, when the Crusaders entertain Trinity Christian College, of Palos Heights, Illinois. The men's game will begin at 2 p.m. with the women's game scheduled to follow at 4 p.m.

Clarke's wome'ns team finished 7-12-1 overall and 4-3-1 in Midwest Collegiate Conference play last year, while the men's squad went 6-11-2 overall and 2-5-1 in league play.

Trinity Christian's women's squad is ranked No. 7 in this year's NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches Preseason Top 25. The Trolls posted a 23-2 record and made a Final Four appearance last year.
