Erin Hauser - Fires school-record 83 at St. Ambrose Fall Classic

Coach Rick Arrington's women's golf team set both individual and team school records at the St. Ambrose University Fall Classic, held Sept. 19-20 in Davenport, Iowa. Clarke freshman Erin Hauser, of Belvidere, Ill., shot a school-record 83 in the final round to lead the Crusaders to a school-record score of 350.
 
Clarke finished fifth in the 10-team event with a 360-350--710.
 
Clarke freshman Megan Chitty, of Davenport, finished ninth individually with an 85-84--169.
 
Hauser finihsed 11th overall with an 89-83--172.
 
Tournament host St. Ambrose won the team title, finishing with a 333-330--633.
 
Jordan Davis, of Ashford University, took medalist honors with an 80-73--153.
 
The event was contested at Glynns Creek Golf Course and Emeis Golf Course.
