Coach Chris Miron's Clarke College women's volleyball team won two matches Friday at the Coe College Kohawk Invitational in Cedar Rapids. The Crusaders posted 3-0 wins over both UW-Stevens Point and Faith Baptist to improve to 10-8.
 
Keri West had 11 kills and 10 ten digs in Clarke's 25-18, 25-13, 25-19 win over UW-Stevens Point. Heather Jansen had 14 digs in the victory, while Hannah Grow and Tina Zielinski each had 12 assists. Ashley Shields had five blocks.
 
Shields had a team-high 10 kills and six blocks and Abby Naumann added nine kills in the Crusaders' 25-14, 25-14, 25-14 win over Faith Baptist. Hannah Grow had 17 assists and 10 digs.
 
Clarke will return to Midwest Collegiate Conference play on Tuesday when the Crusaders travel to Oskaloosa, Iowa, to face William Penn University. A 7:30 p.m. start is scheduled.
