The University of Dubuque women's basketball team outscored Clarke 55-36 in the final 20 minutes of play Tuesday and a posted an 81-63 non-conference win at the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center. Jennifer Nichols scored a game-high 26 points for the visiting Spartans.
 
Clarke senior Joquetta Rolle scored 12 points and grabbed a game-high 18 rebounds for the Crusaders, who saw their season mark slip to 0-4.
 
Morgan Sullivan and Casey Breitbach each chipped in 11 points for the Crusaders.
 
Clarke owned a 27-26 advantage at halftime after leading by as many as seven points in the opening half.
 
Nichols pulled down eight rebounds for UD (1-0), which won the rebounding battle 45-38.
 
Clarke will continue non-conference action on Thursday when the Crusaders play at Graceland University. A 6 p.m. tip-off is scheduled.
