Winona State University defeated Clarke College 106-60 Friday night in the Merchants Bank Tip-Off Classic in Winona, Minnesota. Coach Jerry Drymon's squad will now face Palm Beach Atlantic in Saturday's 5:30 p.m consolation game.
 
Winona State (2-0) raced to a 56-27 advantage at the break and never looked back. The host Warriors shot 60 percent from the field in the opening half and shot 59.4 percent for the game. Clarke managed to hit just over 35 percent of it attempts from the field.
 
Travis Ferrell led Clarke will 12 points. Cory Billinsgley added 11, while Elliott Carr and Justin Heng each chipped in 10.
 
David Johnson led Winona State with a game-high 22 points.
