Five Clarke College student-athletes have been named recipients of the Midwest Collegiate Conference 2009 Fall Champion of Character Award.
   
Named to the MCC Fall 2009 Champion of Character list from Clarke were seniors Collin Hayes (soccer, Bartlett, Ill.), Mary Lager (soccer, Rapid City, S.D.) and Nate Smith (cross country, Cedar Rapids, Iowa); junior Keri West (volleyball, Dubuque, Iowa); and sophomore Ashley Thibadeau (cross country, Dubuque, Iowa).
 
Award recipients were nominated by their respective head coaches.
