Clarke College Head Women's Volleyball Coach
Chris Miron announced today that Melissa Dever, of Maquoketa, Iowa, has signed a letter of intent to enroll at the college this fall and join the Crusaders' volleyball program.
Dever, a 5-10 outside hitter, picked up her third varsity letter this past fall as a member of Maquoketa High School's volleyball program. As a senior, Dever earned first-team all-confernece and all-district honors. She also earned Clinton Herald All-Area and TH All-Area honors, and was selected to the Northeast all-tournament team.
A two-year team captain, Dever earned second-team all-confernece honors and was an all-district and TH All-Area selection. Dever was an honorable mention all-conference pick as a sophomore.
Dever was a three-year varsity letterwinner in basketball for the Cardinals.
Melissa is the daughter of Tim Dever, of Lisbon, Iowa, and Tricia Dever, of Maquoketa.
