Alex Kelsheimer had match highs in both kills (12) and total points (15.5) Friday night to lead Clarke College to a 3-0 win over Graceland University at the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center. Bobby Springer and Alex Wilharm each had nine kills for the Crusaders, who improved to 2-0 with a 30-23, 30-21, 30-12 win.

Springer hit .643 and Kelsheimer .450 for Coach Kris Dorn's Crusaders, who outhit the Yellowjackets .298 to .053.

Matt Redman had 28 assists for Clarke.

Anthony Robinson led Graceland (0-1) with 10 kills.

Clarke will open conference play at home on Tuesday when the Crusaders host St. Ambrose University.
