Clarke College's baseball team split a doubleheader with Tabor College Monday in Wichita, Kansas. Coach Chad Harris' squad took game one 3-2 before dropping the nightcap 5-3.
   
In the opener, Jared Munson led off with a home run and Pete Sulliivan struck out six and allowed one hit and one run while improving to 2-0 on the young season.
 
Michael Jimenez went 3-for-4 for the Crusaders, who plated single runs in the first, third and fourth innings.
 
Sean O'Connor pitched the final three innings and  recorded his first save.
 
In the nightcap, Tabor took a 3-1 lead after one inning to play and pushed two more runs across the plate in the third for a 5-1 advantage.
 
Tony Harvat had two RBIs for the Crusaders. Ryan Kelly went 3-for-3 and Jared Krasselt was 2-for-3.
 
Jake Moser (1-1) took the loss for Clarke, now 4-2.
 
Clarke will play a noon doublehader Tuesday at University of the Ozarks.
