Jessica Nessan - Two Top 20 Finishes at Nationals
Clarke College junior Jessica Nessan, of Dubuque, pocketed a pair of Top 20 finishes at the 2010 NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships which concluded Saturday in Johnson City, Tennessee.
 
Nessan, a product of Dubuque Senior High School, placed 19th in the long jump and 20th in the triple jump.
 
Clarke sophomore Morgan Bradford, of Anderson, S.C., also qualified for this year's nationals in the pole vault.
 

For the third straight year on the women's side, the team championship was determined by a single point and the final event of the day. Oklahoma Baptist (Okla.) went head-to-head with the two-time defending champ Wayland Baptist in the 4x400 meter finals to decide the 2010 women's champion. Oklahoma Baptist crossed the line first in a time of 3:44.94 to take home the title with a final tally of 68 points. Wayland Baptist finished second with 67 points, while Simon Fraser rounded out the top three with 66 points.

Azusa Pacific took home the men's title for the fourth straight year with a final score of 71 points. Wayland Baptist finished second with a final of 56 points, while Oklahoma Baptist was third with 44 points.
