Clarke College sophomore outside hitter Travis Gabehart, of Franklin, Ind., had a match-high 30 kills Wednesday night to help lead the Crusaders to a 3-2 non-conference home win over Carthage College. Junior outside hitter Travis Wills, of Galena, Ill., added 15 kills for the Crusaders, who improved to 22-10 with a 26-30, 30-26, 26-30, 30-27, 15-13 victory.

Gabehart's kill total matched the third highest single-match total in school history. He also contributed nine digs and two blocks.

Alex Kelsheimer and Bobby Springer each added 12 kills. Kelsheimer and Tyler Oehmen each had five blocks.

Kelsheimer and Dan Tringale each had 10 digs, while Matt Redman had 68 assists.

Randy Hansen led Carthage (19-10) with 14 kills and five blocks.

Clarke will wrap up regular-season play next Tuesday at Moody Bible.
