Dean Molitor made the most of two hits Tuesday in Clarke College's 13-8 Midwest Collegiate Conference win over Ashford University at Alliant Energy Field in Clinton, Iowa. The senior outfielder from Carroll, Iowa, had a grand slam and a three-run double for Coach
Chad Harris' Crusaders, who improved to 15-14 overall and 5-7 in MCC play.
Molitor put the Crusaders up 3-1 with a three-run double in the second. He broke an 8-all tie in the eighth with a grand slam. Clarke plated one run in the ninth.
Clarke pushed eight runs across the plate in the final three innings.

Justin Haas pitched the final three innings and picked up the win.
Ashford slipped to 12-22 overall and 2-10 in conference play.
Clarke will face Grand View University in Des Moines this weekend. The two squad will play a doubleheader on Saturday and one nine-inning game on Sunday.
