Megan Chitty - Finishes 5th With an 88.

Megan Chitty and Jodie Muth each carded 88s Sunday afternoon to lead Coach Rick Arrington's Clarke College women's golf team to a third-place finish at the Clarke Spring Invitational at Thunder Hills Country Club. Tournament medalist Chelsey McCoy, of Viterbo University, fired a 38-43--81 to lead the the V-Hawks to the invitational championship.
 
Chitty won a scorecard tie-breaker and finished fifth individually. Erin Hauser and Ashley Johnson each carded a 90 for the Crusaders.
 
Viterbo finished with a 345 team total and was followed by Ashford (350), Clarke (356), Viterbo II (397), St. Ambrose JV (412), Loras (419) and Iowa Wesleyan (439).
 
Ashford's Jordan Davis was the runner-up medalist with an 83.
 
Clarke will compete in the Midwest Collegiate Conference Championship on Friday and Saturday at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny, Iowa.
