Michael Jimenez was 3-for-4 with two runs scored Thursday to lead Clarke College to a 4-2 non-conference win over Cornell College at Mount Vernon, Iowa. Coach

Krasselt put Clarke up 2-0 in the first with a two-out, two-run double. The senior second baseman from Chili, Wis., broke a 2-2 tie in the eighth with a lead-off home run. Krasselt also figured in Clarke's ninth-inning run. Jimenez scored on a fielding error after Krasselt's two-out double.
Sean O'Connor pitched two and a third scoreless innings to improve to 4-5.
Clarke will return to MCC play this weekend with a three-game series at Waldorf College. The two teams will play a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday before meeting for one nine-inning game at noon on Sunday.
