Clarke's 4x800 meter women's relay team shaved nine seconds off the school record in an NAIA national qualifying performance Saturday at the Drake Relays, while Coach Adam Hinders' men's 1600 sprint medley team finished fifth, also setting a  new school mark.
 
Hannah Day, Samantha Leslie, Carley Freund and Katrina Moyna punched a ticket to the NAIA Championship in the 4x800 relay with a school record time of 9:36.45.
 
Clarke's 1600 sprint medley team of Chris Nightengale, Travis Bettcher, Kraig Moore and Justin Heng placed fifth and broke the school record with a time of 3:28.39.
