Jessica Nessan finished second at the Midwest Collegiate Conference Multi-Event Championship which was contested Friday and Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa, while Crusader sophomore
Katie Hemesath, of Dubuque, won the 1500 meter run at the University of Dubuque Open on Saturday.
Nessan placed second in the women's heptathlon with 3,873 points, finishing just 12 points behind Rachel Luehrs of St. Ambrose University.
Hemesath won the 1500 meter run in a time of 5:06.96, whie
Justin Heng won the men's 1500 meter with a time of 4:02.61.
Clarke's 4x100 meter women's relay team took first with a time of 50.67.
Clarke pole vaulter
Katie Bergman tied for second with a clearance of 2.50 meters.
Hannah Day placed second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:01.63, while
Joquetta Rolle took second in the long jump (17-07).
