Clarke College junior Jessica Nessan, of Dubuque, Iowa, broke her school record Friday in the long jump competition at the Dr. Keeler Invitational in Naperville, Illinois.
 
Nessan, a product of Dubuque Senior High School, placed third in the long jump competition with an NAIA standard and school record jump of 5.69 meters.
