Two members of Coach Liz Garthright's 2010 Clarke College softball program have earned Midwest Collegiate Conference honorable mention all-conference honors. Senior first baseball Colleen Dansart, of Oak Lawn, Ill., and junior pitcher Nicky Newhoff, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, were among 37 stduent-athletes to be recognized by MCC coaches.
 
Dansart led the Crusaders in batting average (.411), slugging percentage (.607), on-base percentage (.489), hits (46), RBIs (23), home runs (4), total bases (68) and bases-on-balls (18) this past season.
 
Newhoff was 10-10 overall with a team-best 2.98 ERA. She was 6-5 in MCC games with a 3.15 ERA.
