
Deneen, a four-sport participant and 2010 graduate of River Ridge High School, picked up varsity letters in baseball (2), basketball (2), football (2) and track (4).
A 6-3 guard, Deneen earned second-team all-conference basketball honors as both a senior and junior and was a two-time Oregon all-tournament selection.
As a member of the Wildcats' track and field program, Deneen was a two-time state qualifier in the high jump, placing 10th as a junior and 14th as a senior. Deneen holds the school mark in the high jump (6-5) and was a three-time conference champion in the event. He was a member of the sectional championship team as a freshman and was the sectional high jump champion as a senior.
Deneen garnered football MVP honors after leading River Ridge in passing and receiving, and finishing second in rushing.
Charles is the son of Charles Deneen, of Apple River, Wis., and Deborah Deneen, of Elizabeth, Illinois.
Drymon's list of newcomers for the 2010-11 campaign also includes freshmen Colby Harms (6-0, PG, Wyoming, Iowa) and Alex Rosencutter (6-2, G, Kenosha, Wis.), and transfers Chad Boston (6-4, G, Des Moines, Iowa, Southwestern Community College), Brian Hommel (6-8, F, Argyle, Texas, Howard Payne University), Mike Schindel (6-5, F, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Des Moines Area Community College), and Brock Zins (6-6, F, St. Paul, Minn., Fond du Lac Community College).
Boston averaged 11.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game last winter at Southwestern. He shot 58 percent from the field.
Harms is a product of Midland High School.
Rosencutter was a three-time letterwinner and two-time MVP at Kenosha Tremper High School.
Schindel is a 2008 graduate of Cedar Falls High School, where he twice earned first-team all-conference honors. He was a two-year starter at DMACC.
