
Coach Chris Miron's Clarke University women's volleyball team split a pair of matches Friday at Calumet College of St. Joseph in Whiting, Indiana. The Crusaders fell 3-2 to Robert Morris before bouncing back to take three straight sets from Calumet College of St. Joseph.
Clarke senior Ashley Shields hit .382 and led the Crusaders with 27 kills and five blocks against Robert Morris. Abby Nauman added 10 kills, while Heather Jansen had 20 digs. Hannah Grow had 45 assists and 18 digs.
In the 25-9, 25-16, 25-12 win over Calumet, Brittany Batteram led Clarke with eight kills. Kylee Miller had 21 assists and nine digs.
