Two games in the book and a 2-0 start for Coach Sean Esterhuizen's Clarke University men's soccer squad. Clarke's 4-0 home win over Lawrence University Saturday gave the Crusaders their second shutout of the young season.
Clarke built a 2-0 lead at the break. Dismang opened the scoring with a goal at the 17:12 mark on assists from Kraig Moore and Dino Ramic. Ramic, who had five shots on goal, added an unassisted goal at the 39:52 mark.
Dismang found the back of the net to make it 3-0 at 54:17. Mazurek closed out the scoring with a goal nine minutes later on a feed from Peter Bayliss.
Luke Van Meveren recorded two saves in his second shutout performance.
Clarke outshot Lawrence (1-1) 10-2 in the opening half and 7-4 in the final 45 minutes of play.
Clarke will be on the road Sunday, facing UW-Whitewater at 7 p.m..
