Bryan Louff puts Clarke up for good with traditional 3-point play.

Clarke University spotted Grand View University an 11-point lead in Saturday's Midwest Collegiate Conference men's basketball game at the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center.
   
But Coach Jerry Drymon's Clarke Crusaders, who trailed by 11 at halftime, outscored the visiting Vikings 34-17 in the final minutes of play and came away with a 57-51 win.
 
Bryan Louff's three-point play with 44.6 seconds remaining erased a 51-50 deficit and put the Crusaders up for good. Clarke rattled of the final eight points of the game after Grand View had taken a 51-49 lead with 4:34 to play.
 
Grand View (11-10, 5-7) jumped to an 11-0 lead and shot 48.1 percent in the opening half. The Vikings hit just 20 percent of their attempts from the field in the final 20 minutes of play.
 
Clarke outrebounded Grand View, 46-39.
 
Charles Nunn claimed game highs in both scoring (14) and rebounding (10). Louff and Brock Zins each contributred 10 points.
 
Allen Clark led Grand View with 12 points.
 
Clarke will play at St. Ambrose on Wednesday, Feb. 1, before starting a five-game home stand on February 4.
