Alyssa Dalsing is in her third year as a Clarke College Spirit Squad coach. A native of Dubuque, Iowa, Alyssa participated in cheerleading while attending Clarke. She also has an extensive dance background. Alyssa was a student assistant in 2007 and a co-coach in 2008 at Clarke. In 2008, Alyssa also volunteered as an assistant coach for the Dubuque Hempstead High School cheerleading program. While at Hempstead, the team competed for the first time at the state level and became state champions in the side line division. Alyssa is now the head cheerleading coach for Clarke and she is a substitute teacher for the Dubuque Community School District.

Alyssa was a student assistant in 2007-2008 season and a co-coach for the 2008-2009 season at Clarke. In 2008, Alyssa also volunteered as an assistant coach for the Dubuque Hempstead High School cheerleading program. While at Hempstead, the team competed for the first time at the state level and became state champions in the sideline division. Alyssa is now the head cheerleading coach for Clarke.

Alyssa received her bachelor of arts degree in elementary education from Clarke College. She is currently a substitute teacher for the Dubuque Community School District.
