With solid performances to start the second half of their season, Clarke's men's and women's bowling teams are moving up in the United States Bowling Congress Collegiate Power Rankings.
Another solid team effort by the Crusader men helps them hold their spot at 25th out of 56 varsity teams, while the Clarke women make a strong move, up six spots to finish in 13th out of 42 women's teams at the Blue and Gold Classic in South Bend, Ind. Sunday.
After six games Saturday at the Blue and Gold Classic in South Bend, Ind., Jacob Boresch leads the Crusader men with a 1276 (212.7 average), placing him in 38th out of 422 bowlers. On the women's side, Morgan O'Brien totaled 1093 (182.2 average) and currently sits in 52nd out of 275 ladies.
A strong push propelled the Crusader men to their best finish in program history, as they finished sixth place out of 22 varsity teams at the Robert Morris University Eagles NAIA Baker Challenge. Clarke's women's team held its spot at 14th.

After six traditional team games Saturday, Jacob Boresch leads the Crusader men with a total pin-fall of 1133 (188.83 Avg) while Freshman Angie Washington paces the Clarke women with a total of 1113 (185.5 Avg).

Clarke men made a strong run at qualifying for match-play on Day Two of the National Collegiate Team Match Games Saturday, falling just short of the cut to the top eight teams, while still earning the program's best finish in a Tier I event.
