Udelhofen's opening round performace tied the tournament record and propelled the Crusaders to a school record 298 and a share of the lead in the 13-team invite.

Clarke freshman golfer Josh Udelhofen enjoyed one of the most successful seasons in the history of Crusader golf in 2010-11. His 77.7 18-hole average narrowly missed out on breaking the school's season record of 77.6. An outsider might guess such accomplishments would make the Platteville, Wis., native rather jubilant about his first collegiate season.
