Clarke University Athletic Director Curt Long announced today that former University of Dubuque assistant men's and women's soccer coach Jason Carlson has been named the university's head men's soccer coach, and that current Clarke men's and women's assistant soccer coach Tyler Watkins has been named the Crusaders' head women's soccer coach.

Clarke University's men's soccer season came to an end Sunday in the opening round of the 2011 Midwest Collegiate Conference Tournament. The host Crusaders and Viterbo University battled to a 0-0 tie after 110 minutes of play, but the V-Hawks claimed the shootout victory, 4-2, to advance to the tournament semifinals.
