Fifty-three Clarke College student-athletes have been named to the college's Fall 2009 Dean's List. The Dean's List recognizes full-time students who earn a GPA of 3.65 or above, computed on a minimum of 12 graded hours during the previous semester.

Katie Hemesath - Finishes Second at William Penn Invite
Clarke College sophomore Katie Hemesath, of Dubuque, Iowa, finished second at the William Penn University Cross Country Invitational this past Saturday in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Hemesath, a product of Wahlert Catholic High School, finished the race with a time of 17:01.

Two Clarke College student-athletes have been named the Midwest Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in their respective sports for the period ending Sunday, Oct. 4. Clarke freshman Megan Chitty, of Davenport, Iowa, was named the MCC Women's Golf Athlete of the Week, while junior Heather Jansen, of Hazel Green, Wis., was named the conference's Volleyball Libero of the Week.
