
Dubuque Hempstead state bowling champion Stephen Habel has signed a letter of intent to enroll at Clarke College next fall. Habel claimed the inaugural Class 2A individual state championship last month in Des Moines with a three-game 738.


Clarke College Head Bowling Coach Chris Uffman has announced the signing of the college's first two recruits for the Crusaders' inaugural 2010-11 season. Uffman announced today that Minooka Community High School products Jonathon Heidler, of Channahon, Ill., and Tyler Heintzelman, of Shorewood, Ill., have signed letters of intent to enroll at Clarke next fall and join the Crusaders' bowling program.

Fifty-three Clarke College student-athletes have been named to the college's Fall 2009 Dean's List. The Dean's List recognizes full-time students who earn a GPA of 3.65 or above, computed on a minimum of 12 graded hours during the previous semester.
